Agricultural Engineering and Irrigation Research is engaged in the utilization, shortening, and diffusion of engineering technologies that could excel the performance of agricultural productivity and, at the same time, achieve sustainability. What the researchers' composition will be concerned with is the type of still being used on the farms, post-harvest technologies improvement, application of renewable energies, and systems for irrigation and water management, which are the most efficient. By the end, this cluster is expected to come up with novel solutions that are supported by mechanization, reduce post-harvest losses, and promote the industrialization of the farming sector through smart irrigation for better resilience in the agricultural setup in Tanzania.
