Research

1. This entails at assessing farms, soils, vegetation, and climatic conditions to determine fertility levels and identify suitable crops for optimal production.

 

Seeds

1. We produce all three classes of foundational seeds (Pre-Basic, Basic, and Certified) for diverse crops. Our production includes both true seeds and vegetative materials like seedlings, cuttings, and vines. These seeds  entails to support the entire supply chain:

1. Pre-Basic seeds produce Basic and Certified stock.
2. Basic seeds produce Certified and Quality-Declared stock.
3. Certified seeds are for direct commercial farming.

1. We serve all clients including farmers, government agencies, and private seed companies.

 

Registration

1. We manage the central registration of all agricultural research projects carried out nationwide by all research stakeholders, including academic institutions, Government and private research bodies, corporations, and Non-Governmental Organizations.

 

Training

1. We provide specialized training to build the capacity of all stakeholders involved in the agricultural value chain.This includes farmers, extension officers, educators (from agricultural schools and colleges), entrepreneurs, and Staff working in factories involved in value addition of agricultural products. The training entails to facilitate the adoption of new agricultural technologies and innovations.

 

Laboratory services

We provide:

1. Analysis of nutrient composition of agricultural products to assess their quality, including the levels of protein, oil, vitamins, minerals, and carbohydrates.
2. Analysis of soil nutrient content to determine soil fertility, including the concentrations of nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, and other essential minerals.
3. Analysis of nutrient content of plants to assess their nutritional status, with particular focus on nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, and other key minerals.

1. Analysis of pests and their biology, as well as diseases and their causative agents, in order to develop effective control measures.
2.  DNA testing to identify the genetic content of plants and insects, including the analysis for Genetically Modified Organism (GMO) content

 

Consutancy

We specialize in providing expert consultancy services focused on the assessment and evaluation of farms, agricultural investments, and agribusinesses across the entire value chain. Our goal is to deliver technical advice that enhances productivity and efficiency. Thus we provide:

 

1. Evaluating existing agricultural operations and projects to identify opportunities for improvement.
2. Advising on the planning, implementation, and management of agricultural ventures and investments.
3. Supporting the development of farm projects, agribusinesses, and value chain initiatives to maximize output and sustainability

 

Data

1.  We facilitate the sharing and access of agricultural research data and information to support researchers and development partners across the entire value chain. Data can be requested or shared with third parties specifically for research purposes.
